We will keep the website’s default cookie use minimal and will not place optional analytics or advertising cookies before you choose to accept them.
01 · Explanation
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including local storage and tracking pixels, can perform related functions. In this policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies where appropriate.
Some cookies are necessary for security, booking, authentication or remembering your privacy choices. Others help measure website use or support advertising and require your consent.
02 · Categories
How we categorise cookies
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, booking functions, administrator authentication and remembering cookie choices | Not required where the cookie is genuinely essential |
| Analytics | Understand visits, page use, performance and booking journeys | Required before use |
| Advertising | Measure advertising and understand whether campaigns lead to bookings | Required before use |
| External media | Load optional video, maps or other content supplied by a third party | Required where the service places non-essential cookies or tracking |
03 · Providers
Services and storage
- Netlify: website delivery, security, server logs, secure booking functions, administrator authentication and private storage. Essential session technology may be used where required; it is not intended to set advertising cookies.
- Analytics and advertising: no optional analytics or advertising tags are currently enabled on this website. Saving a cookie preference does not activate a provider. Any future change will be explained before optional tracking begins.
- Stripe: the booking form sends you to Stripe Checkout to enter payment details securely. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its own payment page for payment processing, security and fraud prevention.
- Google Meet: online consultation links open Google's meeting service. Google Meet is not embedded on ordinary website pages; Google's privacy and cookie information applies when you open its service.
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| trd_cookie_preferences (local storage) | Remember your essential, analytics and advertising preferences. Contains no patient details. | 180 days, or until a change of purpose requires a new choice |
| Booking and photo-upload session storage | Keep the secure booking or upload session available in your current browser tab. | Browser tab session; access tokens also expire on the server |
| Administrator session cookie | Keep authorised clinic staff signed in. Not an advertising cookie. | Limited sign-in session; removed on sign-out |
04 · Consent
Your cookie choices
You can reopen cookie settings below or in the website footer. Optional preferences start off and can be changed at any time. You can read the website and book a consultation without allowing optional cookies.
The website currently uses essential storage only. A consent banner is shown if optional providers are introduced, with equally clear options to accept or reject them. Withdrawing consent stops future optional use; it does not automatically remove information already processed lawfully.
You can also block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technology may affect booking, account or security functions.
